Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Ex twice world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
